Beavercreek is a city in Greene County, Ohio, and is a suburb of Dayton with its 2000 census population at 37,984. It is the home of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and areas known as Knollwood, Zimmermanville, New Germany, Apple Valley, Spicer, Indian Ripple, Big Beaver Valley, Country Club of the North, the village of Alpha, as well as the area known as Trebein. In 2007, Beavercreek ranked 84th in Money Magazine's Top 100 places to live, with many of its residents working on the nearby Wright Patterson Air Force Base. It is easily accessible via the U.S. 35 which provides direct expressway access to downtown Dayton and Dayton International Airport, and it skirted by 1-675 providing convenient access to nearby Cincinnati and Columbus.
