Kettering is a city located in Montgomery County, Ohio. It is the largest suburb of nearby Dayton with its 2000 census population at 77,502. The city is bordered by Dayton, Riverside, Oakwood, West Carrollton, Moraine, Centerville, Washington Township, Beavercreek and Sugarcreek Township. It is the home of the Kettering Medical Center as well as other nearby medical facilities including the Miami Valley Hospital and the Dayton Heart Hospital.
